Delete your Nxera account
Nxera is the app for home service businesses published as Nxera by Nxera Digital LLC on Google Play and the App Store. This page explains how to delete your Nxera account and what happens to your data.
How to ask
- In the Nxera app: tap the gear at the top of the screen to open Account and settings, tap Account, tap Delete account, and type your password. Or, in Account and settings, tap Your data, then Delete everything, and type your business name.
- On the web: sign in at getnxera.com/portal, open Account and settings, then Your data, and choose Delete everything.
- By email: write to info@getnxera.com from the address you sign in with. We complete a request made by email within 30 days.
When it happens, and how to cancel
A deletion you ask for in the app or on the web runs seven days after you ask. We email you when you ask and again when it is done.
Until then you can cancel it: sign in to the Nxera app or at getnxera.com/portal and choose Keep my account, or reply to the email we sent you.
What is deleted
- Your customer list and its history.
- Your members, with their messages, visit requests, visits and photos.
- The documents, uploads and logo you gave us.
- Your website and your reports.
- Your conversations with the assistant, its decision cards and what it knew about your business.
- Your Google and WhatsApp connections.
- Your sign-in, your sessions and the phones signed in to the Nxera app.
Your plan page is closed.
Payments
- If you pay for texts, they end on the day of the deletion: we bill that month's texts over 300, cancel the subscription and release your number. Nothing is charged after it.
- Your members' plans are billed on your own Stripe account and their payments go to you, so we do not cancel them. We take our fee off them first, so later payments carry none. Cancel them in your Stripe Dashboard if you are closing your program.
What is kept
- Payment and tax records, as the law requires.
- Our record of each email we sent: its subject and date, with the address replaced by a keyed code.
- The entries on our bounce, complaint and unsubscribe lists, with the address or number replaced by a keyed code, so nobody on them is emailed or texted again.
- Consent and opt-out records, with the address or number replaced by a keyed code and the IP address and browser details removed. They are deleted four years after your data.
- Entries in our activity log, which are deleted twenty-four months after they were written.
A keyed code can be matched against an address or a number but cannot be turned back into one.
